Estee Lauder Introduces New Pleasures Bloom

Estée Lauder introduces its new line of perfume- the Pleasures Bloom, a luscious fruity floral fragrance, that embodies the appeal of new moments, new pleasures and the exuberance of life’s carefree days. It is a lovely companion to its best selling predecessor- Pleasures, which has been around since 1996.

New Pleasures Boom represents a more playful, contemporary expression of the original, iconic concept. Reinvented to match the contemporary consumer, Pleasures Bloom is described to be a fruity floral fragrance instantly transporting you to a field of colorful petals and delectable fruits where fresh violet flowers and vibrant pink peonies sparkle. Distinctly feminine, playful and exuberant.

Estee Lauder gives us an Idea of how it smells like:

The fragrance opens with a fresh and playful, fruity blend with the refreshing burst of sparkling, mouth-watering Grapefruit and ripe, luscious Raspberry while juicy Lychee adds an uplifting, yet modern feel to the delicate charm of Violet Flower.

Be prepared to be enthralled by the sumptuous harmony of a radiantly feminine heart as the body of the fragrance unfolds with colorful, vibrant florals of dewy Pink Peony, elegant Rose, intoxicating Jasmine and the spicy intrigue of Green Lily.

A sensation of comfort arises from the finish of soft, shimmering Musk blended with a touch of Patchouli and Creamy Vanilla for warm femininity.
“We wanted to take the timeless core concept of pleasures – the enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures as the balance to a life that is often over connected and overextended – and express it with a new level of animation and vibrancy that reflects the world we live in today,” said Karyn Khoury, Senior Vice President, Corporate Fragrance Development Worldwide, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. “The concept today is less about tranquil calmness and more about adding energy, animation and color to life.”

The packaging is similar to the original Pleasures perfume, but capturing the essence of this new, modern interpretation, it comes with a shiny, metalized cap and a single fuchsia blooming bud adorning the bottle’s neck. The exterior packaging features a bold floral print expressing the heart of this luscious, vibrant fragrance.

In the Philippines, new Pleasures bloom will be available at all Estée Lauder counters nationwide starting on October 2010, for Php 3,450 for the 1.7 oz / 50 ml EDP Spray and Php 4,900 for the 3.4 oz / 100 ml EDP Spray.
